We are a dedicated group of people who are focused on bringing a variety of Artistic and Musical experiences to our community throughout the year. You may know us best for the Adirondack Folk Festival or for our Boathouse Concerts or you may not know us at all. Here is a brief rundown of some of the things we do year round.

Boathouse Improvements
With the help of grants secured by Town Supervisor Cathy Moses, the Boathouse Theater was previously improved with new bathrooms, a new entrance, and darkening shades. The Theater continues to receive TLC and has been enhanced with additional new chairs, a wonderful built-in bench, new quiet fans, and a sound and light booth on the second level equipped to man the new theatrical lights. Perennial gardens, lovingly planted by the Schroon Lake Beautification Committee, now surround the Boathouse with beautiful seasonal blooms.

Mission
The Purpose of the Schroon Lake Arts Council is to cultivate, promote, foster, sponsor and develop the understanding, taste and love of the musical and visual arts in our community. We are constantly striving to meet this goal and we welcome your participation and your ideas. For more information on the how you can help, go to the How to Help Us page.
